MA625

Ni-21.5Cr-9Mo-2.5Fe-3.7Cb+Ta(mass%)
Nickel chrome alloy featuring outstanding aspects both in corrosion resistance and heat resistance.

Main Features

This alloy has particularly excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance. It shows high level of strength, rupture strength and fatigue strength qualities at wide specter of temperatures – from very low up 1100°C.
MA625 is a nonmagnetic alloy. It is a Ni-Cr type alloy with Mo and Cb added to improve strength and corrosion resistance. It especially shows successful results in stress corrosion cracking sensitivity induced by chloride ions. It is mainly used for Jet engine parts, aircraft materials, chemical industry parts, special sea water equipment, heat furnace material, evaporators.

Weldability/Workability

MA625 is not suitable for oxy-acetylene method. However, other welding methods are applicable and it has weldability close to that of 18Cr-8Ni Stainless steel. Welding congelation cracking sensitivity is lower than the 25Cr-20Ni Stainless steel type alloys, and only a little higher than the MA-X alloys.

Available Product Forms

Various shapes, such as flat-rolled plates, forgings, welding wires, wires, welded pipes and tubes, seamless pipes and tubes can be manufactured.
