Notice of changes in Directors of J-Power Systems Corp.

J-Power Systems Corp. (President: Kusuo Sanjo), a joint venture of Hitachi Cable, Ltd. (President & CEO: Norio Sato) and Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. (President: Masayoshi Matsumoto), has announced the following informal decision concerning changes in the membership of its Directors.

A formal decision concerning these changes is planned for the Regular Shareholders' Meeting scheduled for June 27, 2005.
