Our overseas subsidiaries: Hitachi Cable Philippines, Inc (The Philippines) and ConEx Cable, Inc. (U.S.A.) have both attained ISO 9002 certification in succession.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) established the ISO 9000 Series as an international standard for quality management and quality assurance. Along with corresponding to the recent trends where attainment of ISO 9000 certification is a necessary requirement, Hitachi Cable, Ltd. has already its all products. We also aim to further plan the maintenance of quality assurance systems and we are actively promoting the attainment of certification throughout our whole group-both in Japan and overseas.
Currently, we are focusing group wide, on the maintenance of quality assurance systems that will enable us to give our customers higher quality products.
